My Gaming Days

This few days I've been playing Final Fantasy VII (FF7). This is one of the Final Fantasy series that I don't have chance to play last time. I started playing FF7 after I've done Crisis Core :Final Fantasy VII (CC:FF7) from my PSP since last year. CC:FF7 is the prequel story that occurred 7 years before the FF7 story. The hero for CC:FF7 is Zack Fair a 2nd Class SOLDIER for Shinra Electric Power Company (Shinra), the previous owner of the Buster Sword before Cloud Strife & also Aerith Gainsborough's 1st boyfriends. But CC:FF7 ends with a sad ending & shows how the FF7 begins.

Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII

After watching the ending scene of CC:FF7, I've been trying to find a copy of the FFVII for my PSP & I've found it for quite sometime. The story begins with Cloud Strife joined a rebellion group known as Avalanche to stop Shinra from destroying the Planet Gaia by harvesting Mako Energy from the Planet's Lifestream, a flow of life-force beneath of the Planet to convert it into electricity. In this game, all life originates from the Lifestream, and returns to it upon death. But as the story continues, Cloud and his friends have to stop the game famous villain, Sephiroth from destroying the whole Planet.

Final Fantasy VII

For your info, there is prequel for CC:FF7 too that is known as Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, a mobile game that only released in Japan. The story is about Shinra's troops known as The Turks and how they battle against an anti-Shinra insurgency group, Avalanche that is fiercer than the FF7's Avalanche.

Before Crisis : Final Fantasy VII

There is a sequel story to the original FF7 that is known as Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children (FF7:AC). It is not a game but a movie that was released at year 2005. It is an event that occurs 2 years after the original FF7 story. But I recommend you to watch the FF7:AC complete version that was just released in April this year. The complete version is an extended-cut version of the 1st release.

Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children Complete

There is another sequel to the original FFVII story that is known as Dirge of Cerberus : Final Fantasy VII (DoC:FF7). This is the 1st Final Fantasy series that came in a form of third-person shooter game. This game is all about Vincent Valentine, an optional playable character from the original FF7. The game reveals more about Vincent's past and his battle against a group of SOLDIERs known as Deepground. A sequel to DoC:FF7 known as Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode : Final Fantasy VII that is a story that occurred somewhere in the middle of DoC:FF7 story. It is a mobile platform game.

So there is a compilation of Final Fantasy VII story that is related to each other but I don't have the time to follow every single chapter of the story. Right now I'm still trying to finish Final Fantasy VII but it will take me a very long time. That's all for today.. hehehe...
